Rachel has completed her PhD and thesis in therapy engagement. She is passionate about all things occupational therapy and has dedicated her life to working to support families to achieve their goals using evidence base practice.
Rachel has worked with a range of children who are premature, require early intervention for areas of delay or have a disability including: Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Duchene Muscular Dystrophy, Spinal Muscular Atrophy, intellectual impairment and any chromosomal or genetic conditions.
Rachel supports children of all abilities. She has specialist experience and passion in working with children who have complex diagnoses and medical conditions.
Rachel brings experience working within multidisciplinary teams and has served as the Occupational Therapy Discipline Lead, providing mentorship and supervision to early-career occupational therapists. She has also worked as an academic and lecturer at the Australian Catholic University, contributing to the education and development of future occupational therapists.
